Every Setting here is volatile: it is lost when the Mouse sleeps, re-pairs or loses power, and this page sends it again the next time you connect. Nothing is written to the Mouse's Onboard memory.

Feature indices are discovered on every connection, never assumed.
Before connecting, stop G HUB and its background agent. Closing the window is not enough: the agent keeps running, re-asserts its own profile, and will revert what you set here. Quit it from the system tray, or stop its services in an elevated PowerShell, then start them again when you are finished. Keep the Mouse awake and close other tabs using it.
Connect reads your Settings, selects Host mode if the Mouse is in Onboard mode, and checks the readbacks before enabling any change. Disconnecting or closing the tab does not restore the mode — use Return to Onboard mode, and restart G HUB when you are finished.
The device chooser may appear again after restarting Chrome. Serial-number availability and permission persistence are not confirmed.
